AD Legal is an independent law firm offering a full range of services related to economic law: French and European competition law (antitrust), merger control, distribution and consumer law, commercial contracts. 

Our approach to law is pragmatic, agile and results oriented. We provide legal advice and act in litigation matters.

AD Legal advises and assists its clients (SMEs, medium-sized and listed companies, subsidiaries of foreign groups, investors, entrepreneurs) in their relations:

• with their competitors, suppliers and distributors, through competition law (and the prohibition of cartels, vertical restrictions, abuse of dominant position, restrictive practices of competition) and distribution law (drafting and review of GTCs, CGAs, commercial contracts, annual agreements, pricing policies, sales and promotions...);

• with consumers, through consumer law (advertising, organization of sales and promotions) and e-commerce (general conditions of sale, terms of use, legal notices, etc.),

• with supervisory authorities :

  • in their M&A transactions: mergers, minority and majority acquisitions, creation of joint ventures. For all these operations, subject to merger control rules, we assist companies from the initial assesment of the operation to the identification of the relevant merger control authorities, the filing of the transaction up to their authorization by said authorities, if necessary with commitments,

  • in the context ofinvestigations by the authorities (ADLC, DGCCRF, DIRECCTE, European Commission, etc.), by filing complaints or assisting targeted companies in deciding whether to cooperate with the authority, apply for leniency, contest or not to contest the objections, or negotiate a settlement.

• with the courts, in the context of litigation relating to unfair competition, parasitism, brutal rupture of established commercial relations, restrictive competition practices, but also in the context of appeals against the decisions of competition authorities or in the context of indemnity actions (known as "follow on") for damages suffered as a result of a cartel condemned by a competition authority
